I see future of our countries hanging on a thin little thread like the boys head, looking down at the worst possible results. If his & many other heads are not lifted up to stand tall with a smile & betterment, the tread will snap & that time no “GOD” will come to help us… as he (GOD) has given us enough money, power & ability to see around, feel reality, use commonsense & share as much as we can. Share a smile instead of a frown & you will feel heaven, right here on earth!

“I CARE” – let’s say together “WE CARE”

I have found the ideas of umme Hamdani and Tellis very coherent. We can start from there.

First impression of the site is quite good. Will bookmark the page before closing the tab. All the best for April Issue.

Children are the gift we send to time that we will NOT SEE. Raise your children so that they treat people as human being rather than based on cast, creed or specially religion. This is what our DEEN teaches us but the teachings have been lost in the mist of time somewhere.

First of, when I look at the picture I don’t feel sad or outraged. I admire the photographer’s skill and also appreciate the cute kid and his innocent posture and bearing. Next I think about what this picture means and what does this little boy need? Does he need to be taken off the streets and allowed to play and be free? I’m not so sure, what I do see is that he needs a pair of shoes-that’s something we can easily provide right? In a country where a billion rupees is spent on fleeting TV ads and full page print insertions and incessant radio and huge billboard exposure, where the rich feast and the poor fast while the rest of us in between go to bed with full stomachs can’t we buy a child a pair of shoes? Is it wrong that he’s working on the streets? How can we judge? Can we see the whole picture of his life’s circumstances or do we just engage in that knee jerk reaction that eases our consciences and allows us to get on with more important things in life like- career, entertainment, keeping up with the Joneses. We fool ourselves by criticizing the status quo when we are part of it; we censure society when all in all society is just all of us. All of us who turn the other cheek or pass the buck, all of us who add to the problems by doing nothing constructive. The task is not hard you can contribute by showing respect and kindness to those you meet daily. Sometimes we find it easy to love strangers but impossible to love those we are closest to. This boy might be saying to us “Don’t save me save yourselves!”
