From film stars to music icons, celebrities are throwing their weight behind global efforts to raise funds for the victims of the Haiti Earthquake
On 22nd January George Clooney will be hosting an MTV telethon along with Wyclef Jean and other stars. Earlier this week, donations came from many industry icons including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna, and Sandra Bullock.

As the world readies supplies from food to medicine, the situation deteriorates by the hour in Haiti as the extent of the damage is overwhelming and the stretched UN peacekeeping force tries to clear the path for aid to reach victims.
With an estimated 100,000 or more killed and potentially 3 million in desperate need of emergency supplies, the international community is mounting one of the most complicated aid efforts in history.
