Elvis’ Jailhouse Rock seems to have been written for Lindsay Lohan. The twenty-four year old perpetual jailbird has been sentenced to 90 days in jail on the 6th of July, by Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel, who insists there are ‘no excuses’ as far as she is concerned. Lilo, who was on probation for a DUI case, violated terms by not showing up for weekly alcohol-education classes. Her lawyer stood by her, protesting that her client “did the best she could under extremely difficult circumstances”, and Lilo’s mascara was irreparably smudged by a copious amount of pitiful tear-shedding but the judge held her ground. Tut tut, one thinks this girl would have learnt her lesson by now.
