This week, we’re looking forward to the launch of ‘Turquoise’, an exclusive brand of ready-to-wear clothes for women by Nuzhat Kamran, at the Fashion Pakistan Lounge from the 6th to the 8th of August. Just in time too, ladies, Eid is around the corner. I would run to snap up the best ones before they’re gone. For more information, visit http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=142234299137545

We have expectations of Nadia Hussain, and she never disappoints. The model is collaborating with ‘Flitz’ and introducing her own line of shoes with the intriguing title ‘Fetish’. The exhibition is set for a week before Eid, so get your running shoes ready, we’re predicting a mad rush.

She’s back, and she wants people to know it. After launching and starring in a reality show called ‘Komal’- taking self-awareness a bit too far, if you ask me- she has launched a new single called ‘Chahiye’. To cement her comeback and her name in the minds of the populace, her first video in ten years features multiple shots of her name. Can we expect big things from her comeback? Only time will tell… Meanwhile, please don’t forget: it’s KOMAL.

England 354 v Pakistan 182

It was a rather embarrassing loss for Pakistan as they were defeated by England at the first cricket test at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Our valiant team was defeated by 172 runs on day three, despite the fact that national star Mohammad Asif took out four wickets. Better luck next time boys! We’re all hoping for a better performance in the second Test at Edgbaston.
