RDB teams up with the Deols for ‘‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’’1 comment

First it was Namastay London then Singh is King and now Yamla Pagla Deewana. RDB have done it again, the global hit makers have given music to Samir Karnik’s forthcoming film ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana.’

The title song ‘YPD’ has been revamped by RDB sung by Nindy Kaur and legendary Sonu Niggam. The two unique and mesmerizing voices are set to give this original classic a new flavor which fits the films requirements. The song has already been used in the first theatrical promo which has had over 500,000 hits in less than two weeks.  RDB is excited to be a part of another exciting new project.

“We’re really excited to be a part of another massive Bollywood project, it’s a great feeling to be with some of the greatest artists of the industry, Yamla Pagla Deewana is a classic song we hope to keep up to the reputation’’ said, Surj from RDB.

There will also be a House version of ‘YPD’  which will be a remake of the hit Bollywood song ‘Main Jatt Yamla Pagla Deewana’ a Bollywood classic from 1975 movie Pratigya starring Dharmendra.  This version will be sung by Canadian singer and the latest artist signed to RDB’s record label Parichay. Parichay has currently release his debut single with three records ‘TUM HABIBI’ which is currently being played on all UK radio stations.

Yamla Pagla Deewana released on January 14th 2011.

About Nindy Kaur:

Raised in the U.K. and surrounded by the beats and rhythms of Birmingham’s Bhangra bands, she grew up as a child who would save her lunch money to buy every single Bhangra album upon release. It was in 2004 was when Nindy Kaur made her stage debut as she toured the United States with Shezad Roy & Sukhbir.  Nindy’s debut release was the track “Aja Sajana” which was featured on the album “Danger 3” by Untouchables Records. From there she also released “Gur Nalo Ishq” and “Gidha Pao,” which were both featured on DJH’s debut album. Nindy has also made her Bollywood mark with hit tracks such as Aloo Chaat, Boliyaan, and Om Mangalam. Currently she is in the studio with RDB working on their album Worldwide and future Bollywood projects.
