Sebastian Vettel collected his fifth win of the Formula One season after a classic Monte Carlo Grand Prix. His Red Bull Racing team-mate Mark Webber missed out on a podium, but battled to secure fourth place.

Vettel had started on pole position, but a problem in the first round of pitstops badly affected both him and Webber. However, a series of crashes, driver penalties and the race being suspended for 20 minutes before being resumed for the final seven laps, coupled with some aggressive strategy and driving saw our drivers reap the benefits.

It was a different tale for Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari who was hampered by poor qualifying then crashed, not finishing the race. But Sébastien Buemi did make the top ten, scoring another valuable championship point for the Italian team.

Monaco proved another draw for the rich the famous and the wannabes, with the Energy Station, complete with bars, pool and two parties over the weekend definitely the place to be and to be seen. Among the Red Bull guests over the weekend were rugby star Jamie Roberts, record producing genius Stuart Price, actor Jason Statham, star of Lost Michelle Rodriguez and former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

We leave for Canada with Red Bull Racing’s Constructors’ lead extended to 61 points over McLaren and Seb leads Lewis Hamilton in the Drivers table by 58 points, Hamilton himself just six points ahead of Mark.
