Shweta Subram teams up with Bollywood Musical Maestros for IIFA Rocks!0 comments

IIFA celebrations are in full swing as the Bollywood fraternity gets ready for the biggest Bollywood event in North America. Singer, Shweta Subram is all set to rock the stage today with Salim & Sulaiman, one of Bollywoods most talented composer/producer teams. Salim and Sulaiman have worked on Band Baaja Baraat, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Fashion, Neal n Nikki to name but a few.

Shweta Subram will be singing a song from their forthcoming movie – ‘Azaan’ for the first time ever on stage at the IIFA Rocks event tonight. The song called ‘Bismillah’ will be sung LIVE on stage where all the nominees and guests from the IIFAs will be present. The event will be telecasted live to a expected audience of 300 million viewers.

Salim –Sulaiman heard Shweta at a show in Toronto a few months ago and were impressed with her voice. Salim says, “Shweta is bundle of talent and will go far. She is a gem of a singer to find in Canada and working with her is a lot of fun.” The show will be co-hosted by Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma.
