Chhipa sets up special Sehari, Iftar Dining Centres for the poor and travelers.
Service to the humanity is the best of all worships:
KARACHI. JULY 21, 2012: Eminent Human Rights Activist and Patron-in-Chief of The Chhipa Welfare Association (CWA), Ramzan Chhipa, has for the service of Muslims, set up special Ramadan Dining Facilities across the City, where Muslims keeping fast would be served free Sehari and Iftar. The Chhipa dastarkhawans that continued catering to the needs of the poor and deserving throughout the year, have now been converted into Ramadan Dining Centres.
Ramzan Chhipa has since day one of Ramadan, inspected the Chhipa Kitchen and expressed his satisfaction on ultra hygienic conditions and quality of food. On first Ramadan, needy people were served with quality food for Sehari and Iftar.
Ramzan Chhipa spent a busy day as he visited various Ramadan Dining Centres in the city, and had a chat with the diners at Chhipa Ramadan dining Centre for Sehari and Iftar. He listened to the problems of the poor and assured them of financial support.
He appreciated the Chhipa volunteers for their works regarding catering to the poor and deserving people under from the CWA platform.
It is pertinent to mention that CWA is the city’s leading non-governmental organization that provides free ambulance services to the people of the city and also offers financial support to people on religious events. Besides these welfare works, CWA also provides free food twice a day to the poor, for which special dining centers have been set up in the nook and cranny of the city.
Ramzan Chhipa has in his special appeal to the rich said that they should come forward and join CWA in its efforts for addressing problems of the poor.
He appealed to the people asking them to donate to the cause of humanity with their Zakat, Fitra and charity and alms, so that CWA could look after the poor during Ramadan and offer Eid packages.
