Depilex's new venture is with City & Guilds.
City & Guilds was founded in 1878 to establish a national system of technical education. They’ve come a long way since they were founded 130 years ago. Today the City & Guilds Group is the UK's leading vocational awarding organisation. They employ over 1000 people and award 1.9 million certificates every year, making its worldwide presence very strong. City & Guilds is globally recognized in many fields.
Initially Nighat & Redah Misbah were invited to Colombo to receive training from the City & Guilds examination board. This qualified Depilex as a City & Guilds training centre, and now a team of 6 headed by Masarrat Misbah is going to Srilanka to receive additional qualifications - to further enhance and improve their skills - in order for Depilex to conduct the first City & Guilds examination in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy in Pakistan in December 2012. This would not only prove to be a paramount advantage for Depilex locally abut also globally.
