Ramzan Kareem is the month to unwind and relax. Most of us who are fasting avoid stepping out in the scorching heat as much as possible. With a lot of free time on our hands, it’s the best time to binge watch television series. We have rounded up some of the best series to watch and make the most of your time:
1) White Collar
White Collar centers on the unlikely crime-solving partnership between Neal Caffrey, a charming con man turned consultant for the FBI, and Peter Burke, the Federal Agent charged with keeping him on the right side of the law.
2) Orphan Black
The series starts with Sarah Manning assuming the identity of one of her clones Elizabeth Childs, after witnessing her suicide. Originally thinking she was a long-lost twin to Elizabeth, Sarah soon realises there’s a lot more going on.
3) The Blacklist
Former government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington has eluded capture for decades. But he suddenly surrenders to the FBI with an offer to help catch a terrorist under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen, a young FBI profiler who’s just barely out of Quantico.
4) Mr. Robot
Follows a young computer programmer who suffers from social anxiety disorder and forms connections through hacking. He’s recruited by a mysterious anarchist, who calls himself Mr. Robot.
5) Crossing Lines
Set in exotic locations around Europe, “Crossing Lines” follows a disgraced New York cop, who finds redemption after joining an international police unit based at the International Criminal Court in the Hague that investigates cross-border crimes and hunts down brutal criminals.
Liv Moore is a medical resident with a promising career and a fiancé, but when she goes to a boat party, things go horribly wrong. Liv gets turned into a zombie after getting scratched by one. Now, Liv has traded her job for a job at the morgue, broken off her engagement, and completely changed her life.
7) Criminal Minds
The cases of the FBI Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), an elite group of profilers who analyze the nation’s most dangerous serial killers and individual heinous crimes in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.
A group of people around the world are suddenly linked mentally, and must find a way to survive being hunted by those who see them as a threat to the world’s order.
9) Downton Abbey
Taking place in the years leading to World War 1, this TV series chronicles the lives of the Crawley family. Upon the death of Lord Grantham’s heir on the Titanic, Matthew Crawley suddenly becomes next in line in inheriting Downton Abbey.
Arriving in France with four close friends as her ladies-in-waiting, Mary has been sent to secure Scotland’s strategic alliance by formalizing her arranged engagement to the French king’s dashing son, Prince Francis. But the match isn’t signed and sealed, it depends more on politics, religion and secret agendas than affairs of the heart.
