Help the IDP’s

For those who want to help, The Citizen's Trust for Victims of Terror [ http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=mb#/group.php?gid=28348833099 ; http://thecitizenstrust.blogspot.co m/ ] has compiled a small list of various initiatives that you can help with (all these have not been verified by their Group Admin)

1. Ms. Fauzia Minallah and Ghazalah Minallah, are collecting donations of flour, sugar, rice tea, dry milk, daal, ghee, salt biscuits for the IDPs in Islamabad. To donate or help with the distribution call Fauzia (0306 504 9852) or Ghazalah (0300 527 0330).

3. RIPORT, is also providing relief to the IDP camps. They will be going in with a scheme called, Lightening the Darkness, where they are hoping to provide electricity to IDPs. 5. Islamic Relief USA, who provided a lot of earthquake relief and are now currently providing medicine and other essentials to IDPs in and around Peshawar. For people in the United States who would like to help

7. Ofcourse, there is Edhi Foundation. Muslim Commercial Bank, Aabpara branch, Aabpara, Islamabad. Account No: 5626-2 – A detailed list of the international Edhi Offices is available on the group wall.

8. Our Foundation is supporting the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in their efforts to provide shelter, food, clean water, and medical assistance to the displaced families in Swat, Pakistan. Their efforts also extend to helping displaced children attend school and continue their education, setting up new camps and registering the flood of people being displaced.
